“The Holiday”: A New Story of Love

By Ana Karen Reyes Guerrero

Do you like love stories? Then you cannot miss this unforgettable story of love. This movie sample as the protagonists find love in the least expected and when you least expect.

Iris (Kate Winslet) is a writer of London. She has been in love with a man for years and he says he loves her, but with her one day she finds out that he will marry. Amanda (Cameron Diaz) make movie trailers in Hollywood. She breaks up with her boyfriend. Iris and Amanda, who lives in the city of Hollywood, they decide to do a home exchange to break the routine and forget about men.

I love the acting of Kate in this movie, the way she conveys all the feelings you and wraps you in the plot.

Iris finds the strength to cope with the advice of his new friends and realize you no longer want to be involved in this “evil love”. Amanda finds true love to open the door to a stranger, something dangerous in my opinion I do not dare to do, although it turned out very well.

Essay

My Favorite Pet

My favorite pet is my dog "Oreo". He stays with me when I am afraid. He is intelligent. He is so hansome and he takes care of me. I love my pet.

Oreo stays with me when I am afraid and when he notices I am sad, he stay with me. He gives me kisses and wags his tail to make me feel happy. When he does it I think he is saying "don't be sad, I love you". He does funny things.  He is so lovely.

He is so intelligent. He knows how to tell me what he needs. If his partner run away he imnediatly makes a lot of noises and looks for me to tell me what's that something is wrong. Finally, when when I take him for a walk, he is alert to approaching strangers. He's so smart and that he doesn't let them be close to me.

Oreo is so handsome. He has beige, white and grey fur. His hair is long and wavy. He has a  funny, curled and furry tail. He looks gorgeous.

My dog is the best in the world for me. He does funny things to make me feel better. He knows how to communicate with me. He is such a good-looking dog! I love Oreo, he is my baby.
